The Bay View Inn is a long established bed and breakfast located on the Chesapeake Bay approximately 12 miles west of Eastern Shore of Virginia and approximately the same mileage east of the lower Chesapeake Bay's mainland.  The bed and breakfast is located on the section of Tangier Island called "West Ridge".

In the last three years, over $100,000 of improvements have been completed within the compound including new roofing on the house and all cottages.  The Bay View Inn sits on one acre +/- with manicured landscaping.   Each cottage has its own private bath.
